Great building once inside, rooms and hallways modern and clean, free internet, fantastic restaurants inside the hotel
The breakfast buffet was overpriced for the lack of variety you received

Their breakfast option with nice japanese selections is reasonably good and plentiful, put others we have been to shame! The location it has short walk to bus stops is particularly good and perfect.

Despite ordinary looking exterior, really impressive hotel within. Good shuttle service between the hotel and Kyoto station allowed us to connect easily with transport to the sights of Kyoto. The hotel was impressive in its presentation and the room was spacious and comfotable.
The hotel's international restaurant was ordinary, the wine list was bad and way overpriced. Even though it purported to be western friendly, the english translations of tourist material and restaurant menus were scarce. It is not located near any restaurant areas or shops.

Good value for money. Not in the main hotel area but reasonably convenient - 10 minute cab ride from Kyoto Station and on bus routes to main sites.
No free wi-fi

The staff was very helpful. The atmosphere was very nice. The bathroom products were great! The Japanese robes were so nice, as were the complimentary slippers. Free internet is always a plus! I would definitely stay here again.
No wireless internet. :( Not even in the lobby.

Our room was huge and nicely remodeled and had a pleasant view, liked it. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, we received excellent services. The staff were pleasant lot of time. Location: the hotel was near to the nearest restaurants and Nishiki Market. Ate at Chinchikurin, it's a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue.

Beautiful building and room. Convenient free shuttle to Kyoto Station. Very helpful and friendly staff with good english skills.
No free wifi, but it is Japan so I suppose that's to be expected.
